Airlines to sell their bodies?

Interesting to see Canadian airline company WestJet, unveil its new, Frozen-themed airplane, featuring Anna, Elsa, and Olaf. WestJet says Disney artists and cast members collaborated with them to design the Boeing 737, which is decorated inside and out. It took the painting crew 21 days of 12-hour rotations to finish the paint job, which took more than 170 gallons of paint and includes sections of paint mixed with glitter.

This is WestJet’s second Disney-themed plane, as the airline debuted a plane in 2013 featuring Sorceror Mickey.

So how long will it be before other airlines start selling their bodies (so to speak). Seems like a good idea to me. Having just returned from Paris on a flight packed with little Elsas and Snow Whites not to mention similiarly branded cases in the overheads (I wasn’t the one at Disneyland Paris, I hasten to add) I can imagine the pester power to go on a branded plane.

Check out a time-lapse video of the plane being painted.
