A COOL NEW LOOK FOR THE UK’s LARGEST FROZEN FOOD DISTRIBUTOR
With over 300 vehicles and 12 cold stores including 3 regional super hubs, Yearsley Logistics are the largest mover of frozen goods in UK providing supply chain solutions to all the major supermarkets.
The company are investing heavily in infrastructure with many exciting new developments planned to increase capacity nationwide.
The future of the company is based on delivering a sustainable business model, focused on innovation, agility and customer service excellence and needed a way to communicate this to both existing and potential new customers.
12 Miles north was approached with a view to developing messaging and creating a new look for all collateral as well as print advertising.
12 Miles North collaborated closely with the team at Yearsley to understand what they wanted to convey and help them develop a theme to tell their story. ‘The road ahead’ was created and served as the basis for showcasing the latest innovations the company have developed as well as highlighting future developments.
When it came to redesigning the collateral we considered the pioneering spirit of the company and its founders. This DNA still drives everything they do so we utilised the Yearsley logo in an abstract way as a watermark across all imagery to convey forward thinking and progression.
12 Miles North also produced and art directed photography. This involved one of our most challenging shoots to date – a cold storage facility with an average temperature of –29ºC. We were slightly concerned as most digital SLR’s will stop working at -10ºC. Body heat, thermal layers and superb kit ensured everything worked out fine. Thank you Nikon.
The new collateral was revealed at trade exhibitions to a resounding chorus of positivity and continues to receive enthusiastic feedback both internally and externally.
